Went to Maggie for first time botox and filler and she was absolutely phenomenal! She took her time and educated me on everything and gave me a personalized plan. After talking to Zea about my skin / face, I choose to do the BBL package. I'm very happy with the choices we made. Beautiful office with amazing results and staff! I got my rapid recovery breast augmentation done in October 2024 and couldn't be more satisfied with the results. I went through a series of appointments disclosing what would be best suited for my body and lifestyle, along with what I wanted to personally achieve. Dr. Walter's did a great job walking me through every step of the process and preparing me for my procedure. The procedure itself was a breeze and I was out of bed the same day with minimal pain/discomfort. I was immediately satisfied with the results as soon as 2 weeks after the procedure! I could instantly tell I was taken care of in good hands. I am currently 6 months post operation and have received numerous compliments on my results. Scarring is minimal and the work looks and feels incredibly natural. Maggie has also been a pleasure to work with for my first round of Botox. She was attentive to all questions and delivered beautiful results as well. I value the office's goal to achieve natural results and how easy they are to work with throughout the process. Everything about the Modern is amazing! All the staff are very sweet and welcoming every visit. Maggie is hands down the best injector in the city! The best place to get breast surgery and facial treatments

I received the Morpheus 8 microneedling treatment by the AMAZING aesthetician Zea. I was searching for something to help give my face a fresh look after years of no daily face routine. I set up a consultation with Zea at The Modern Plastic Surgery and Medspa. She walked me through all the steps needed to prevent further damage and get my skin rejuvenated. Zea took her time explaining all the facial products and Morpheus 8 treatment with me. She answered all my questions regarding my daily routine and the actual treatment. After the treatment, I had some redness to my face and neck, some minor peeling, and no noticeable swelling. Only 7 days after the treatment, my skin is feeling rejuvenated with a smoother texture. Zea has been phenomenal throughout the whole process from start to finish! I highly recommend going see Zea at The Modern Plastic Surgery and Medspa for all your facial needs!

Gynocomastia surgery experience-- I feel like I picked the right surgeon for the job. I've had a moderate case of gyno for the better part of 5 years and finally decided to go under the knife. Dr. Walters made two small incisions on each areola and near the armpits and with that was able to completely remove all the excess fat and glandular tissue. I'm 1 month post surgery and the incisions are nearly invisible. My pecs now looks exactly how they did before the gyno developed which has surpassed my expectations. The staff was fantastic and the whole experience smooth as silk.

Before going to the Modern, I was struggling to figure out what to do with my skin and my face. Dr. Walters did my tummy tuck (which I am thrilled with) and since then I've gone to his practice for skincare treatments. I saw Dr. Walters for breast augmentation with silicone implants. I had such a seamless experience with him and his staff. From the first consult to surgery to post-op appointment, everyone was so warm and friendly. Dr. Walters really took the time with me and listened to all of my concerns. My surgery was very successful. I had very little to no pain after surgery. My recovery was also unbelievably easy and quick. I would highly recommend Dr. Walters.

I absolutely love the MODERN Plastic Surgery & Medspa. The space has a beautiful aesthetic, is warm and inviting but also extremely clean. All of the staff, nurses and doctors make you feel right at home the moment you walk through the large glass doors into the beautifully lit waiting area. I've had the pleasure of working with both Zea and Dr. Walter's for facials, laser therapy, Botox and injections. I've never been disappointed. My Botox and filler lasted a year which is unheard of for my face. Typically I go in once every 4-6 months. It is well worth it. Trust that Dr. Walter's has your best interest and beauty in his heart. He's not afraid to tell you no, which turns out better for your wallet, and typically you as well. I will never go elsewhere. The Modern has been instrumental in getting my life back. Having had gastric sleeve I lost a lot of weight and was left with a lot of excessive fat/skin that I couldn't get rid of. The Modern worked with me to find the perfect solution and I had my Fleur de Lis tummy tuck 2 years ago and Dr Walters and the staff have been a total blessing to me throughout my healing journey. I highly recommend Dr. Walters and his staff if you are interested in plastic surgery. I had a Mommy Makeover five weeks ago and I have had the best experience. Hesitant to find a new plastic surgery place in New Orleans, having moved from another state, I stumbled upon Modern while googling “moxi” laser. I decided to go for a consult with Zea because I had nothing to lose. I was blown away by this place. Zea was incredibly knowledgeable, listened to what I “wanted enhanced and fixed” and decided we should partner with Maggie, an injector, to achieve the results I was looking for. I then met with Maggie a week later and it turned out what I wanted enhanced wasn't achievable without surgery, however, with her incredible knowledge, she was able to enhance other areas of my face NATURALLY to draw attention away from my “trouble areas”. What amazes me the most about her is that she isn't afraid to tell you “no”. She isn't afraid to explain to you why a different enhancement might actually give you better results. I am sure glad I listened and trusted her judgement. Such a subtle difference gave me a huge boost in my confidence and I feel beautiful without makeup. So far I've gotten my cheeks filled with her. My find lines around my eyes and the bags under my eyes are filled out and much brighter looking, having the appearance that I'm less tired looking overall. After my moxi laser scheduled with Zea to help stimulate collagen production, I'm going to get a subtle enhancement to the lips with Maggie simply because my mouth naturally forms a frown. Maggie and Zea came up with a plan to enhance naturally, one step at a time, let the results settle, and go from there. Nothing pushy. Worked with my budget and keeping up with my goals. The office is incredibly beautiful and clean and so aesthetically pleasing and I would recommend them beyond measure to anyone looking for a little help enhancing their natural beauty.

I had a bbl/moxi treatment today on my face. Zea made sure I was numb and comfortable. She explained each step of the way and spent extra time underneath my eyes and my problem areas. I came to The MODERN looking to find a skilled surgeon to hopefully correct a poorly performed breast augmentation I've been dealing with for the past twenty years. Dr. Walters is AMAZING! I have been wanting a breast reduction for years, but I had fear of the recovery process. After browsing for my months I finally gained the courage and set a consult with Dr.Walters. Walking in the office, (that is completely beautiful btw), the receptionist were so welcoming, instantly my nerves went away. I recently had the Halo laser procedure. The down time was approximately one week. Mainly swelling and light peeling. I am very pleased with the results! My face is plumper and texture is smoothed. About a year ago I really started thinking it was time for me to have my breast implants taken out. They had been in for 15 years, and had become misshapen and were beginning to cause discomfort. As this is such a huge decision, I sat on it for a long time. I definitely did my homework, as far as researching doctors and contemplating what I was hoping to attain throughout this process. I knew I didn't want to have replacement implants, but I was definitely considering fat transfer. I just needed the right doctor to help guide me along the way. After I was given a recommendation to set up a consult with Dr. Walters, I immediately made my first appointment. Every single person in this office is so welcoming, kind, and makes me feel so comfortable each time I am there. At each visit, Dr. Walters took the time to listen to all of my questions/concerns, and walk me through the decision making process until I was comfortable and ready for surgery. We decided to remove the implants and wait to see how everything settled and then decide if I wanted to move forward with fat transfer. I am about 5 weeks out from having my implants removed and I honestly am so content and thankful! Dr. Walters is truly a perfectionist with his skills. I couldn't be more grateful to have him as my surgeon. Everyone in the office is so warm and friendly and genuine, which is just so appreciated by patients like myself. After breastfeeding both my babies, my breasts were looking pretty sad. Dr. Walters did a breast augmentation with a lift and I swear they have never looked better. I finally have my confidence back and I couldn't be more grateful to Dr. Walters and his amazing team.

I love everything about the Modern, Dr. Walters, and his sweet staff. Everyone always make me feel so comfortable. Dr. Walters is extremely thorough and always takes the best care of me. I love my results every time. Robin leaves my skin glowing and set me up with a great at home skin care routine. I can't thank them enough for always making sure I look my best. Highly recommend!

He was very personable and professional. I went back and forth and had several consultations with other Doctors but after meeting Dr. Jules I knew he would be my doctor of choice. Dr. Jules Walters and his staff are amazing. I reached out to Dr . Walters when I was first diagnosed with Breast Cancer. From day one, they were so patient and compassionate. Dr. Walters took his time to explain to me all my options and made sure I understood what would be involved. He answered all my questions and made sure I was comfortable with his answers. During the several procedures I had with Dr Walters, he always strived for perfection and paid attention to all the details. I am extremely pleased with the results that I received from Dr. Walters and blessed to have had a plastic surgeon that cares so much for their patients.

I got in, got out, no wait for anything. Answered any and all questions before during and after surgery and always got back with me that day. Very accommodating and made me feel very comfortable about everything. What they say it's like is exactly how it is. No major meds or recovery time which is amazing. I am extremely pleased.

I went to Robin for a Diamond Glow facial and it was such an amazing experience. Not only was the facial super relaxing, Robin also provided me with tons of info on how to prevent further damage to my skin. She took images of my skin which then allowed her to identify where my troublesome areas of my skin where and which issues to focus on in the process. She also shared information several options of skincare products based on the needs of my own skin. I really loved my experience and I will most definitely be seeing her again!

I am a local here in New Orleans and I'm so glad that I found Dr. Walters and his staff because I was so nervous to travel out of town away from my support system BUT I stumbled across one of the TOP surgeons in LOUISIANA. That alone made he feel confident! I am 5'5” 160 pounds & a mom of 3 via c section. I am a very active woman but I could not get rid of that “mommy pooch” just above my c section scar. I ended up getting a tummy tuck to repair my abdomen, lipo 360, and a fat transfer. When I tell you! I AM IN LOVE with my new body, confident restored ! Everything went amazing as far as healing , I was up and walking the same day. I was given leg pumps to help with blood circulation & Dr. Walters was so easy to get a hold of any time I needed help or had any concern; he immediately reassured me. I am now 3 months post op, and ready for the summer. I do highly recommend Dr. Walters and his staff, hands down one of the best decisions I've made thus far. Thanks Modern fam!
