Hi-Def Lipo Technique

Prior to the start of your Hi-Def liposuction treatment, a local anesthetic is administered in order to numb the treatment area properly. This can also effectively reduce the size of the blood vessels beneath the skin to better control bruising and discomfort. During the actual procedure, the VASER probe is applied over the treatment area and ultrasonic waves are administered, helping to break down the fat tissue. The advanced ultrasound technology also leaves the surrounding area unharmed. With the Hi-Def liposuction procedure, Dr. Walters can precisely remove the fat to reveal the sculpted muscle definition below. Once the treatment is complete, the treatment area may appear slightly red and swollen, but those aftereffects will start fading after a week or two.

What To Expect

Following your Hi-Def liposuction treatment, it can take a few weeks for your optimal outcome to appear; however, many of our patients notice results almost immediately. It is also important that you stick to a healthy diet and exercise routine in order to help your results last as long as possible. If desired, touch-up appointments may also be available to maintain your newly sculpted physique.

24/7 Follow-Up Care: Dr. Walters will call to check on you after surgery. You will also have his personal cell phone number to reach him at any time.
Lymphatic Massage: We will refer you to a local massage therapist for a manual lymphatic drainage protocol starting 1 to 3 days after surgery.
Post-Op Garments: We will send you home with any post-surgical garments you need.
Scar Therapy: We offer scar gel, scar sheeting, and laser treatments to reduce visible scarring.
Accommodations & Transportation: We work with certified nurses in the area to provide transportation and overnight care services, if needed.
Guidance & Support: Your helpful patient care coordinator and surgical nurse will educate and advise you each step of the way.
